Stuart is one of Ireland’s most established, exciting and successful producers in Irish Musical Theatre and Cabaret, under the auspices of Spotlight Productions.
As a Producer and Choreographer, Stuart’s recent credits include Mentor for Eurovision in Malmo this year where he was responsible for choosing Ryan Dolan and the song to represented Ireland, Jedward And The Magic Lamp at the Olympia Theatre, ‘Irish Dreams’ a Spotlight produced Irish Dance Show which is currently touring Germany and RTE’s Lip dub video for Big Music Week.
With Jedward, Stuart has worked on both series of OMG Jedward’s Dream Factory and produced The Young Love, Victory, Carnival and Bad Behaviour Irish and European Tours. He has also worked on The Bad Behaviour and Young Love Music Videos as well as many appearances in Ireland, UK and Europe. At present Stuart is producing Jedward up coming UK Tour which will start touring this September.
Spotlight Productions is responsible for the following Theatre Productions, this year’s Jedward & The Magic Lamp, Cinderella, Jedward & The Beanstalk (Jedward/Olympia), Aladdin (Susan McFadden/Noel V Ginnity/Olympia Theatre), Jack & The Beanstalk & Cinderella (June Rodgers/Olympia Theatre), Annie (Rebecca Storm, Olympia / Cork Opera House), Robin Hood (Linda Martin / Noel V Ginnity/ Olympia Theatre) Bugsy Malone (Olympia Theatre).
Stuart’s production of Taylor’s Traditional Irish Cabaret, starring Noel V. Ginnity, is one of Ireland’s top cabaret shows, playing yearly to packed houses for a six-month run at Taylor’s Three Rock.
Over the last number of years Stuart, along with MD David Hayes, has devised the Opening of the hugely successful Late Late Toy Show. Stuart also appeared on screen as a Judge on RTE’s SUPERCREW, which resulted in Ireland’s first Super Dance Crew being formed.
Along with his wife Ciara, Stuart runs the highly successful Spotlight Stage Schools, which are based in Carlow and Navan, these students perform regularly in venues such as Olympia & Grand Canal, NCH, The O2, as well as TV & Radio.
Stuart produced the highly successful Eurovision Winners Tour featuring all of Ireland’s previous Eurovision winners and is also busy with preparations for Beauty & The Beast, this year’s Olympia Panto starring Jedward.
